I'm a Cannon girl at heart and can't wait to get you in front of my lens. While I'm available to shoot at all times of the day, nothing is better than that dreamy golden hour lighting. The last hour before sunset is my favorite time to photograph you.
When you leave your session, I want you to be pleasantly surprised by how smoothly things went. I want you to have gorgeous images you are proud to display in your home and show off to the world. But, more importantantly since tomorrow is never promised and I want YOU to be in the pictures too. As mom's, all too often we are the ones taking the pictures and avoiding being in them. I promise you, years from now your kids will just be happy that they have photos of you!
We are a portrait based studio located in Wauconda, IL. Most of what we photograph is outdoor and we travel all over the Chicagoland area. For years, we lived in the Plainfield, IL area and we still have tons of clients out that way. We are happy to come to you or meet in the middle for a unique location for your shoot!

I get it, family pictures can be stressful. Today, they shouldn't be. I will guide you along the way, having 3 kids of my own I know how to work with kids of all ages. Don't worry, I've got you!
After your session, you'll receive your images via a password protected gallery within 2 weeks. Often times, it's just a matter of days!
I am based out of Wauconda, IL but I photograph all over the Chicagoland area. I'm always happy to give suggestions for beautiful locations. Whenever possible, I will choose locations without a permit fee or where I currently hold a permit. *Some locations require a permit to use their park/land for photos.
I will start watching the weather a day or two before your session. The day of your session I will be in touch if the weather is looking questionable. If we are expecting inclement weather we may push your session up or back so that we can get the session in. If we are unable to shoot, we will reschedule for another day.
You will receive a password protected gallery within two weeks of your session. Often times it's just days! If you had a full session, you'll be able to download your digital images direct from the gallery. If you had a mini session, you'll be able to choose your images that you would like for your digital download.
Of course! All sessions are fully edited. Adjustments to color, contrast, clarity etc are done by hand to each and every images. I also apply mild skin smoothing and will edit out bruises and acne. This is all included in your session!
