Chance | Wauconda Horse Photographer

I've been friends with Darcy for years and have heard about her horse, Chance, many many times. She would always talk about how stubborn Chance could be and how much she absolutely loved and adored him. She would spend her spare time with him of course. Not only taking care of him, but riding and loving on him as well.

One day, I got the email that every pet parent knows is coming. And while we know it's coming, it certainly doesn't make it any easier. Darcy was pretty sure that Chance's days were numbered and she wondered if I'd be willing to take some photos of her and Chance before he got worse.

Of course I would! I love animals. All animals, big and small. It was such an honor taking these pictures of the both of them. Chance was a good boy during his special shoot and you really could see just how much he was loved.

A short time after these photographs were taken, Chance passed. I'm so happy that Darcy has these pictures to remember him by. Together, they made art this day. And, she will have these photos forever. Chance, you were such a good boy. Thank you for loving on my friend Darcy!
